Default Which brushless system?

I'm thinking about changing over from a brushed setup to brushless system, which brushless combi is good on a budget. For a 2wd a 6.5t or 8.5t system would be most suitable (I think).

I've been looking at a EZRUN system, novak super sport 8.5t or a Losi system.

Any thoughts....

ive used a 5.5t ezrun for the last year and its never let me down. never cogged or run hot and is plenty fast enough for me. The tuning box is so easy to use and a great feature too. Price on ebay is brilliant at the minute - about £63 posted. Cant go wrong

also had the 9t which comes with a samller 35a esc. Ok for 2wd but dont bother if going in a 4wd buggy. The 9t is actually a 380 size motor in a 540 can

Have a look at the Flux system form HPI Racing, its basically a rebadged Castle Creations effort and at £143 is good money...

http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=1151

The motor is 5700kv whic is approx a 6T so perfect for your 2wd car and using the link up lead you can programme it from your PC/laptop, just download the free software

Hope that helps

Ive run losi motors for a year now and there awsome never let me down. Ive run The losi xcellorin for one meeting now and all so far looks awsome. And for 115 pound its by far the best option i good mix of performance and price. And its sensored.

Definitely a vote for the xcelorin here. Great price point for a sensored system, and It'll last you to any level of competitiveness. Also, you get a warranty because you're not just buying it off eBay
