Default B-max4 CP strange noise while braking

Hi
Ran my bmax at don valley last night and the buggy ran fine but was making a strange sqwarking noise every time i used the brakes. I checked the smoothness of the diffs and slipper but they appeared to be ok.
Any ideas whats wrong?
Regards
Craig

Could be the small bevel gears that run on to diff gear could need shiming up a bit, they can jump when braking .I run mine on the tightest setting according to the instructions and have had no probs.

Hi shark, thanks for the reply.
I think you may be right, i rebuilt the diffs last weekend and may have put the shims back wrong. Will check later, just hope i did'nt strip the bevel gears.
Regards
Craig

for the time being!

but you need to check the shims asap

I heard a noise in mine, and didnt pay too much attention to it, and paid the price!

worn bevel gears.
