Default Cat SX LIPO Servo mounting

Mounting a Sanwa Servo in the Cat seems a bit line it up and hope. How have others fitted them? Unlike a B4, Losi etc. where the servo just goes in.

To the front, back or in the middle of the servo posts?

Sorry for the stupid post

I found the same problem at the weekend after my Futaba BLS451 decided to let me down. I just screwed the servo down a little at a time either side giving a bit of a tweek to centre it and then tigtened both down as far as possible. It seems to have worked.

Pretty much the same as what I did. Why have they done a servo mounting like this?

Got a different problem now. It's a brand new PB spec Cat SX and the steering is very stiff even without the servo fitted, I thought it was suppose to be super smooth... Looks like a strip down of that later. Car won't be running for a couple of weeks due to the shell getting painted.

Also missing the rear transmission cover.. Did this PB build have a Friday afternoon job

Sounds like they may have put the screws in the wishbones and in the yokes at a slight angle.

Had a few screws come loose today around the steering area. Not what I expected. So I'll be threadlocking them a little.

Still not happy with the way the servo is mounted. Are you using the rubber gromets you get with most new servos?
