Default E-speed Hangers

I got a question, i recently mounted e-sped hangers on my X6 SQ, and i mounted with the ballstud down, not up as many of the cars i`ve seen on the net has, is it me thats wrong, but wouldtn the car be more stable and get e tendency to straighten it self up, if the rear link is more angled from the inside and out?
ref elvo`s car theory:
An angled link makes it feel as if the car has a tendency to center itself (level, no roll), other than through the springs or anti-roll bar.
It gives a little more initial grip, steering into corners. It makes it very easy to 'throw' the car.
The body rolls a little less than with parallel links.
On bumpy tracks, it could be possible to use softer settings for damping and spring rate than with parallel links, without destabilising the car.

Wouldnt this be better than putting the rear link higher up?

I have tried them up and down and there isn't a massive difference in "feel" but the car always feels nicer with the links up and this seems to be a starting point for whereever we go now

I tend to run them high as the car has very good rear traction as it is so I don't always want the max rear grip.

On lose tracks I do turn them over though.

ok thanks for replies, as we have a loose track here I`ll try with the ballstud down, maybe on Astro tracks it will be better with the ball upwards

I`ll give them both a try

thanks

If it is really lose you might not want them at all.

The US guys rarely use them.

Fitted the E Speed hangers today as they arrived yesterday in the post

Issue i have now is that my B4 anti roll bar doesnt work corrctly anymore!

The bar now rubs on the turnbuckle ball end when the suspension goes up and down!

Ive tried shortening it and lengthening it but it still rubs which causes the suspension to be rock hard obviously!

Any ideas!
