Eden park is in South London, well Croyden way. We have been bringing the old track up to spec. There is still a way to go, but its ready to run on so next Saturday March the 17th they are having an open day, so why not come along and have a run??? Or if you dont have an off road car, come along and have a look. This is a sweeeeeeeeeeeet track

This is awesome news!!! I'm in SW london, and without a full-size car it's more or less impossible to get to any tracks. Sounds like that's about to change
Won't be able to make it next weekend though, as my mum would probably be quite reasonably miffed if I missed her 60th for it I'll look forward to the next open day ...

Which reminds me: one thing that really surprised me since moving to London is that, AFAIK, there's _no_ indoor buggy racing anywhere in central(ish) London. There's no shortage of school halls and people, so I wonder why none of them want to race?!?

can you attach a streetmap link or address so I know where to go..
The other thing I wanted to know is if there is a racer that would be into car pooling to other race tracks.

I agree, but I live down in Canterbury. There is 2 clubs that race week night but they use slow motors. I like outside racing with proper modefied motors. They will be posting a full regional series with 4 meetings at Eden Park so keep a lookout for any news. It would be great to have some more drivers in the South East.

You may have to travel to Watford, DMS run in a school hall one night a week (mixed), otherwise travel out to Stotfold, Newbury etc in the Chiltern Mid South region. Touring cars at Hillingdon and further out at Wycombe.............yes, you would think there must be something within the green belt, good luck.

If you are after a bit of fun racing on a sunday morning then look at this club (HRCCC, aka Lees Wood) near Watford. Great little Astro track with jumps and cross over. Very friendly. just of j19 M25
