The thought of Ben with his flat out driving stykle scarde the berjesus out of me when he turned up at deerdale yesterday ! But the fella did great for his first nitro meeting with a RTR car and engine. Just goes to show skill is skill !
And his dad enjoyed partisipating aswell ! PIT MAN DAD !

The guys below have been doing it for years !

Yeah Ben did well and i'm sure we will see more of him in 8th

Yeah Ben & his dad was pitting next to us was good friendly bunch of guys.

His car wasnt slow saying it was basic pullstart engine & he could kick the ass out of some of the most best of drivers that day round the track lol.....

Be good see what he does after he has setup the car up little bit more everything was basic & old Hyper 8.5 too.

How many is there to count is it 4 or 5 ? Thats what happens when you drop rounds !!

The car in the final was actually good i drop the weight in the rear & the car was much better was on the edge but was good to drive.
I only managed to do 6laps though due to engine playing up blow plug on the straight.
But from start made it from 8th to 1st for the first lap pulled good lead then engine died bugger.

The changes i made was very good need to work on it little bit more, but still feel abit that the car is pants for the money. I have only done 4meetings & stuff is worn already not very impressed on that side of things but i'm going to make few mods to the car try few more things & replace the worn parts too

Really want to get the chassis CNC but it's finding someone who does it.

How did you get on in the end?

i heard your plug go pop..lol, i had a howler of a day engine cutting out wasnt sure if it was fuel like we was talking about, dodgy switch ended another round and in my final i was going for the bump up and snapped a shock shaft so all in all pants for me too ..

You was running the same fuel as me wasnt you?

Think i will go back to Byron 30% never had issues with that fuel.
