We/I booked the dates with the Athletic Center ages ago..

One date will clash with Worksops calender.

Heres the link..

http://www.cls.eclipse.co.uk/RCCars/...09%202010a.pdf

Theres a few of us planning to go to Bury this comng sunday

As quite a few of us are doing the Mid West regionals / Nationals this year its been difficult to get to club meets..

Im always a phone call away and im available evenings and sat afts (as are a few others!) if track maintenance is required, but we never get a call..

Cheers

Nick

Just want to say it was an excellent event today, that track was cool in preparation and layout (quite different to usual) and im really pleased so many turned up.

Next week is the national at Southport, so ofcause nothing will be on at Bury, but the following weekend (26th July) is the Bury regional which I am looking forward to.

Also, dates for your diary at Bury are August 9th & 16th. Hope all will be there!!! (although I already know I can't make it to the 16th August )

My first time racing at a track and really enjoyed it even tho i came last (at least now i know the weak spots of my DB-01) so i`ll get these sorted for next time.

All in all a good day and nice to meet a friendly bunch

Well i say friendly... nearly got a Traxxas slash in the face at one point but that was my bad for doing repairs in a daft place

Cheers Andy

Hey Andy,
The Tamiya looked really cool, shame all the ballcups seemed a little loose and popped off so easily. There must be an option of different ballstuds and cups which hold better. Somebody in the Tamiya section is bound to know.

Carl, I reckon SC10/Slash/Strike (short course truck) racing is where it is at. Im getting one to cut costs at club racing, I think its the fun we all need!!!! Im just going to get an SC10 and bung in whatever spare stuff I have lay around with a 7.5R Novak brushless.

Chris

kyosho ballcups fit the tamiya and are a hell of alot stronger.

i think in the states they have a series setup and run a 13.5 in them to keep the racing close

Well thats what im talking about, I can limit top speed with the 7.5 so to keep it fair. I don't want to have to spend on a new motor though LOL.

Carl, they're a scream, we can get them out in the evenings at nationals and tear up some grass around the fields. Perhaps with Craig Haggis and Michelle Griffiths, , add LED light kit etc... cool
