Default Changed the mid belt, too loose????

My first mid belt snapped, after change the new is so loose that it skip.
How to avoid/adjust that?

you cant adjust em are the pulleys shagged

Are the gears worn? Thats the only thing i could think of. You cant adjust the centre belt tension, it's just the top deck that tensions it. Try the gears first

I know its non abjustable, The car is new....... so the pulleys are not worn.
Nobody seen this before?

the only time i had one loose is when i didn't seat the top deck correctly!!

the chassis should be flat, and when you tighten down the topdeck, you should have the car sat flat too, to stop any bend (tweak) being induced).

Hmmm.
Try that tomorrow, but i dont think its enough- its wery loose....
Maybe bad batch belt?

I'm on my 4th belt mid and all A-OK so far. Sounds like something is not right.

how come you guys are going through so many belts?? My DB-01 is 18 months old, and still on it's 1st belts.

Changed the belt again, this belt is tighter.

strange you should say that, our belt is new and its loose compared to the old belt

NONE of your belts should skip! When you are fitting your centre belt are you putting it straight over the pulleys or taking the front pulley off to fit it? If so it might be stretching the belt if your not taking the pulley off.

followed the manual it said remove front pulley slide the belt over the rear pulley then replace front pulley,it might not slipp,just when i put the old belt back on its tighter,?

My belt has NOT been stretched/bendt/twisted, i took out the pulley.
The second belt i mounted was tighter, it wount skip...
