Default Hi to all the vintage fans.

Hey all,

I have had a few vintage cars, mostly found on council cleanups.

At the moment i have a Nichimo "Spirit FF" front wheel drive 1/10th buggy (For sale) and a Losi "Street Weapon" 1/10th road car.

I have had an original Tamiya "Boomerang" and a "Wild Willy, both have now been sold to fund my RC habit!

I have been trying to find drive belts for the "Street Weapon" for months with little success.

Happy RC, Brett.

Cheers for the help!

I have found someone with a couple in his tool box, how good is that!

Also, the benracing site is still active.

Thanks, Brett.

Cool car that nichimo!

Not the best or most reliable but defintely something that will get attention at a vintage event.

Yes that's right about the Nichimo, i took it to a vintage meeting even though it was'nt a runner, it drew lots of attension. I have sold it now so i don't have it anymore.

At the moment i have the street weapon, a smartech 1/10th nitro onroad and a HSP Tornado 1/8th MT. All these cars were given to me for free. The HSP needs an engine, the Smartech just needs a drive washer for the engine, the Weapon is now a runner.

Cheers, Brett.

Hey Bormac, I have a track out back of my house that my is used by me and a bunch of guys that have not quite vintage but not at all main stream cars. I have had up to 10 cars running around the track, from 1/8 MT's to 1/10 buggies, nitro and electric all playing together nicely. Most are more than ten years old.

I have the Smartech running now, it went pretty well with the SMT .15, I have transplanted an O.S. Max .12 into it just to see how it measures up.
Tommorrow is run in, day one.

I have put the belts into the Street Weapon and made some saddle packs, i will try that one tommorrow as well!

Cheers, Brett.

I'm in Seaforth, on the Northern Beaches. Very close to Manly beach.
It is a grass track with no jumps, just slight risers and valleys. The older cars love it because it's forgiving and does'nt break them.

Your welcome anytime!

Cheers, Brett.
