Futaba 3GR rear switch?

I opened up my 3GR earlier to sort out a battery problem, and theres a switch on the back which I think I knocked but unsure

Its on the small circuit board which has the status LED's on the back, but Im unsure what the switch is for

Can anyone tell me what postition the switch is supposed to be in? and what its for?
