Default FUTABA 2.4GHz recievers TOO BIG!!!!

Does anybody know more on this reciever from Futaba ?

As there's a lot of interest in the new durango car the only concern was the changing of my 2.4 futaba reciever due to the size. But looking on the futaba site i came across this reciever the R6004FF
Dia 20.5 x 35.3 x 7.5 mm and only costs £54.99
It does say for park and indoor flight models, does anybody know anymore info.

I saw this the other day and thought it looked interesting too. I've seen a report of a range test and it was in the 100's of metres. However, there may be an issue in that I know my 3GR 3-channel 2.4G Tx will not bind with my 617FS 7-channel Rx, so there appears to be an issue with binding a Tx with a Rx with more channels, so one to watch out for. I'd love to know whether this would bind with a 3-channel Tx.
