Talking Leverton Raceay

Hey guys,

Not wanting to detract from the last Leverton Raceway thread however hoping that the mis understanding is now cleared up!

Myself and Bob33 have just spent the majority of the day down at Leverton testing, and have to say that the track is really very good so far. More importantly there are a few more things which we intend to do to the track before racing commences (Graham, think Daz is on about using your idea... works pretty well when we tried it!) which will make it even better.

Unfortunately the rain did come down on us which led to some interesting moments on bald tyres with a 6.5 powered B4 but thats what its all about I guess.

In terms of tyres is anyone ends up going down it looks (at the moment I ad) that mini pins seem to be the ticket; the carpet/ covering used isn't like astro so mini spikes aren't essential, however from today I do wonder if they'll be better in the wet - we'll see I guess.

Think the last thing to say is I hope to see you down there when its fully up and running, and hope we can make a good success of it! If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me.

Thanks

Dan Chambers

The one where you cut out the long sweeper onto the main strait; pretty please about it as I was quite worried about excess tyre wear on the 2wd (less extent 4wd) round there...

Where about where you thinking for a third bump?
