Default Tyre Help - Maximum Rolling Radius

We have started to run a restricted motor with stock gearing class for the TT-01. I run rubbers for grip on the modified cars with some success but I am getting beat constantly on the restricted class as the car is too slow.

Have worked out that this is mainly due to the rolling radius of my rubbers being less than the foams some of the other guys are running so my car is down on top end.

Can anyone recommend or know of a tyre combo has the greatest diaimeter / rolling radiius, grip on the track we are using is not an issue.

Foams come std as 65mm and rubbers at +- 63mm, so you are instantly at a 2mm disadvantage. But you would basically have to run a new set of foams every race in the stock class to maintain the high rollout.

Here at our club in SA we also run a restricted tt01 class where tyres are also restricted to the standard tamiya entry level tyre which keeps it even for everybody.
I personally prefer the rubbers as they are more consistant in their performance and they last longer than the foams right up to super stock level. If you want to keep to rubbers then you must ensure that there is no rolling resistance created by your chassis, stripping completely and cleaning and lubing everything after each race day makes a huge difference aswell.
