Default Tamiya Orings/Damper Grease

Tamiya have released some "Damper Grease" which apparently stops oil leaking through the o-rings, which it does badly on the new competition o rings!!

Anyone know how to use damper grease, do you smear the shaft or cover the o-ring?

bit on the shaft, bit on the o-ring, pass the shaft through your ring (ooooeeerrr), then wipe the excess off the shaft, so you don't get left with a sticky mess (carry on matron)

Default Damper Grease

Sounds like the Tamiya Damper Grease is just like Associated Green Slime. I use green slime for all of my shocks and have almost -zero- oil loss.

I never knew about this stuff!?

I put the competition O rings in my Tamiya shocks and they do work very well at reducing friction, mainly by not sealing them

Within a day I had oil all voer the wishbones!!
