There is no age limit but we do have a number of juniors and we would love to have more.

As Stu says, we will be there this weekend for a meeting so if you can get along, please do.

stock will be fine and is normally recomended as a beginer to club racing as it will help limit your breakages. we run to the brca rules for motors so modified is allowed but as i say start slow and get used to it first before you upgrade.

as a list of things to make it easier for you on your first day racing id sudgest an extra pack of cells (if you havent got one already, 12 volt charger that you can plug onto your parents car for charging as we have open practise, 4 rounds of qualifying and a final so potetially 6 or 7 battery charges through the day. and an assortment of spares for your car, i willl chat to the lads at my local club to get a list of what breaks to help you there.

if you have the time (and can get a lift) then come up to the track tomorrow and speak to the people there as we will be more than happy to help and point you in the right direction to make your first race day enjoyable rather than stressfull

I would get down there and look around at what others are using, what batteries are you using and what connectors do they have ? Tamiya plugs on stick battery ? (what tires - mini spikes ? yellows ? and transmitter re crystals)

Someone may help with charging batteries on the day before you rush out and spend fifty quid, there are often good buys in the for sale section here or at the track.

Good find, looks a well attended and run club, only problem is you have 10th off road electric and I am not sure its catered for, closest is 18th, may need to get yourself a FTX Blaze or better still a LRP Shark (shark is like a blaze with the upgrades), both great cars that will stand alot of abuse and are fun to drive. The christmas list gets longer, worth popping in there and seeing whats what. I may be just the place for you, inside and not to far away.

This looks a very good club!!!! I am sure they will make you feel very welcome!!!! I have never been there.
It looks like no 10th buggies currently run there, as the results don't show any. and the lap times for touring car are about 8 seconds.

But if you want to race 10th electric buggies in your area you need to go to Eden Park Raceway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This club has been given another round of a National event for 09 after their success this year!!!!

So get your butt down to the next round of the winter series, the first sunday in January!!!!!
