I'm not the greatest driver, tbh, but I have damaged 2 Savox 1251 low profile servos since going outdoors. What low profile servos are people using in their YZ-2's, or what servos would people recommend?

I was advised to use a full profile servo on the YZ2.
Savox Low profile are not very strong either. I use to brake some KO low profile so went for regular size and didn't have any issue since. No plastic parts, no flex, the servo will take every hit on the YZ. |

Savox 1251/1252 have really weak gears, avoid them in any car with out a servo saver. They were designed for touring cars, but they break them in those too.
I'd suggest you want a servo with at least a 12kg/cm torque rating. XpertRC low profile I use, Sanwa and KO are always good too. It's possible to fit a full profile servo, just tight. see pics of Lee Martins car with full sized XpertRC.

I've used Futaba low profile servos for tread with no issues whatsoever. I'm now using Team Orion low profiles now they're fine too.

Yeah i broke a Savox 1252 first time out, in the end i popped for a Xpert LM low profile, which is a blinding servo, not cheap, but was worth the money IMO, im learning you really do get what you pay for in some cases lol.

I use a full size Xpert servo from LMR, really impressive quality and have been excellent.

This is a new one:
http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php...-4-8-6-0v.html Looks great spec. I have used the Xpert PI-3401 Brushless low profile (12kg-cm/0.76sec. http://www.xpert-rc.com/product_view...area=2&dcat=61 And now use the full sized Xpert SN-3401. (12.6kg-cm/0.70sec) http://www.xpert-rc.com/product_view...darea=2&dcat=2 Both older models now I changed as i was getting odd off load oscillations on the steering, but it also did it with two other low profile servos. It didn't do it with the full sized servo, after swapping it out, along with receiver. Low profile is fine in another car with another ESC.
