Little Ben had one built for the F3's.

I think someone forgot yo put pistons in the shocks or something

I have some concerns though, does it state phil will build every car himself? and would you really want your car to be a friday afternoon car? (im not saying phil would pay less attention, but im sure i would if it was my 30th kit that week)

Also how long would it take to build one from scratch (4 hours maybe) that works out at £5 an hour, would you really have your chief engineer doing this. i wouldnt.

I think i would rather build my cars myself, i know what to do when thigs go wrong then or if i have changed something.

I think we have to realise, Mr Booth himself doesn't build them, but a team of highly trained, crack, erm, housewives build them, according to Mr Booth's specification!!

When you build cars in pre assembled form there will be a production line, not one person building one kit, that would be stupid.

Im intrigued to find out what setup the cars will have on them from the box. As I hope it isn't the setup from the manual build instructions.

I can see a market for this...
Those who have been in the hobby long enough wont need to know the build inside out as they know the cars inside out in essence. I agree that its not as good as building it yourself in terms of building the knowledge base and is not ideal for someone getting into the hobby.

Personally I would prefer it prebuilt as I never have time to to actually enjoy the build and it becomes a chore...

I did some work experience at Modelsport about 20 years ago....

Building cars for other people isn't much fun really.

Im always sceptical at car which will be thrown together as quickly as possible. I like to have the chance to build them slowly, make sure everything is 100% before it hits the track. Not everyone wants to have the bother of building a car, i personally enjoy it.
