Go for the front alloy pin brace then leave it alone, I have put every single alloy and brass option available including carbon front shock tower and carbon chassis and to be honest it's shit lol, ran way better straight out the box in kit form, that's just my opinion

This car doesn't NEED upgrades - it handles well, is easy to work on and durable out of the box (Yes, even the plastic hangers)

That said, Associated offers some upgrades that do help setup adjustability, like the rear hangers (wider toe- and anti-squat range) or the 3-gear transmission - which should prove a great feature for carpet and astro. In addition I offer a couple of parts for the B5M:

- +2.5 Degree Caster Inserts - Cars nowadays are refined enough to notice small setup changes - this insert offers the option to make such fine-tuning setup changes!
- Inserts for Bearing axles: For drivers that don't want to make the transition to hex front wheels! (requires Durango Imperial axles, TD33040)
- Screw-type Wing Mounts: No more floppy wing and no more body clips to get lost!
- Chassis Brace (Motor) with adjustable battery plate height: For when you run UnderLiPos in the car and don't want unnecessary tension in the chassis! (a flaw that many cars have imo).

More information is available in this topic (on oOple)

Brass front bulkhead to provide a bit more front end traction. Apart from that the standard kit works well out of the box

The schelle slipper is a great upgrade, it really makes the car feel controllable. The lunsford ti track rods are another good upgrade as they are BP. Anti roll bars stop a bit of the grip roll as well.

Other than them the car is fine.

Hi Craig...

Alway run mine standard, only thing i changed was the turnbuckles, thats only because i had some kicking around...

Good alround car, but not as quick as the forward motor cars on the high grip tracks that we've now got....
