Default Where to buy geared diff for tlr22-2 1.0

Yes I know it's a vintage vehicle (not being the 2.0) but it was £100 so couldn't resist it. For my level of skill it will be more than adequate.
I want to buy a gear diff but can't seem to find them anywhere for sale, any ideas where I source one from?

Also I am having a nightmare getting rear hub drive pin into the hole of drive shaft. It's fine when the washer isn't fitted but once I fit that I can only see the tiniest bit of the hole. I have checked the bearings are seared fully in upright and still can't get it to fit. Any tips?
Got one side in!

the drive pin on the 1/0 is a rolled sprung steel jobbie, it was always really tricky to get it in, just patience and a big set of pliers. The 22 2.0 pins are a solid one, which goes in a little easier.

If you are feeling really flush you van always get a set of the aluminum hexes, then you can get rid of the washer altogether, as the metal hex hasa flange which sits directly on the bearing.

Interesting, thanks. I was told today that you still run the washer even if you fit the alloy hexes but can't believe that's right?! Ordered them anyway

you definitely don't run one with the 22 2.0, it comes with the metal hexes as standard, but it does have slightly different drive shafts. The washer has a small flange on it which sits on the inside of the bearing. and it also spaces the drive shaft a bit. The hex also has the same flange on it, so just try it and see.

You may find that the hex wont sit all the way down to the hub, because the pin holds it too far away, not sure as i didnt really play with the newer bits on the old car.
