Default Square LiPo's - BRCA Legal in 2015?

Hi, does anyone know if the square LiPo packs are likely to be made BRCA legal next year / anytime soon?

Its seems as though most manufacturers are producing them now, but as of the last BRCA update (Feb 14), they didn't make the cut - although I suspect that they were pretty new, if out at all then.

Cheers,
Chris

Will all depend on if the manufactures / importers decide to submit them.

Not at the moment, maximum width is 47mm whatever cells they are.

Anyone put in a proposal to allow them for the upcoming AGM?

Paul Worsley will be able to clarify.
Personally I doubt they will become approved.

Because they are much easier to use, charge and store than saddle packs..

They are also limited in the chassis' they can be used in, requiring further packs to be bought for different chassis. Saddles are more general purpose, and mean one can use them in 2wd and 4wd chassis.
