Hi Guys,

Has anyone had any problems with the bottom of the shocks when placing the purple bit on and they dont tighten up.
My rear one are fine but the two front ones wont tighten up they go so far and then pop off.
I'm guessing the threads are weak but just wondedred if anyone else has come across this??

The part numbers i'm talking about

U3317 front shock
U3323 Purple collar

Thanks

Mine are perfect, they are ace shocks, sorry to hear that yours may have been manufactured wrongly.

Email Schumacher with the issue, they will deal with it accordingly.

i had the same problem with one of the front shocks. Apparently, the threads wasn't tapped properly. Ended up with some threadlock.

I had one like that but it was the purple seal cartridge piece. Schuey sorted it straight away and sent me a pair of new ones. Thier service and aftercare is brilliant. The car is brill too! 10/10 to Schuey and Andy at PBM.
