Default Stoke 26th Oct

Here's a few from Stoke today - I was in a rush and didn't get results, and they don't seem to be posted up yet so I didn't write anything about the day.
http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/stoke261008/

Dave Grunill won all three rounds of qualifying with the oOple review XRAY 808 buggy - I qualified 4th in the A with the oOple review Tamiya 801XT Truggy - no idea how either of us finished. I had a problem with the throttle after hitting another car on the last lap, and might have lost some places - but it was a good day anyway.

Looks a good layout but what alot of water on the surface. Hope you ran your motor dry at home jimmy minus the wet filter or your bearings will be toast.

was a good day eh jimmy

weather wasnt too bad, track was wet all day but no real puddles as we swept a lot of them away before the start of the day.

track is ace and quite technical and tight, gotta be smooth on it,looks like jimmy had fun even tho he tried to kill the truggy

Talking

yes was good..just 2 niggles as such

really needs to be round by round in changeable conditions rather than ftd.
the start of the A final..whoops what on earth happened?

we were still being held in the pitlane with less than a minute to go before the start..no time to do a warm up lap and at least 3 of us missed the start because of this

apart from that a great day

dave

I still need to fix the rear shock I'm afraid - it's just the bottom cap, everything else is ok, but it's enough to stop the seals staying in so I'll have to put the racing off until december or so I'll definitely be back tho.
