Hi all
whats the best way to keep your laptop battery in good order, my last laptop battery lasted 30 mins or so i always run it from the power supply, the lappy i have now has a 6 cell battery and i can get 5 - 6 hrs from it but are unsure what to do when it is fully charged will it do any harm to keep running it on the mains , hope someone understands what i am getting at

Our lass's was like your new one once. Now it is scrap. I put this dowm to it usually being used on mains power, so would recomend running down and re-charging.
There is no backup to this statement and it's probably garbage, but it's what I'd do!

I was told lappy batteries need a full cycle about once a month.
Mine comes up 'your battery is nearing the end of its life' now ![]() {Josh_smaxx on alex's computer} |
