Ayk boxer/buffalo build

I haven't posted a build for a while.

Real busy with work and other things.

Anyway the missus gave me some space to get
this build started.

Here is where I have got to so far.











Close to finishing now. The electrics will all be vintage sanwa and the motor a magnum 360L.

Using an original ayk mechanical controller....

Almost there now!!

So after some searching I found these tyres. Rears from a tamiya hornet



They would have to fit these rear rims.



So after about an hour of struggling I managed to fit them. Not a perfect for (and not glued yet) but good enough for me!

AYK using associated rc10 tires fit perfectly

I know but hornet ones are cheaper

I may need to get rc10 fronts

I have the Boxer that have different wheels, looks like the same wheels as the AYK Viper (i think) any suggestion on wich tyres i can use to replace the original ones that are worn?
