Brushless isn't allowed at any BRCA off road event yet, when is the kick in date, beginning of the year or April 1st?

Seriously, it is great. Afaik the Tekin brushless should be released quite soon, do you know any more DCM ?

From what I've seen, it should be quite small too.

not true, it was allowed at all 'end of season finals' events THIS year, and regional as well.

it was only not allowed at nationals.

with regard for when the 'new' rules decided at the AGM, I really don't know when they take effect. but it was decided last year that brushless was allowed at regional descirssion and end of season finals.

Ahh ok, i didn't know about last year. I was getting confused with the released rules and the homoligation of the new systems.
Ta.

Gonna say, I was running brushless at bury regional early this year.
I also was the only one in the A final at the F345 to be running brushless

25mmx25mm (1"x1") footprint from what I understand. Christmas, but that is speculated, it might be delayed but it has been in testing for nearly a year, so hopefuly the time frame should be good.

He / we wish.

From what we hear and the specs now available the system seems ace. We have been assured both power and driveability are excellent so I can't wait to get mine!

Sorry for dragging up this thread but it looks very interesting.

Can anyone answer the following...

Can it run any brushless motor currently on the BRCA list - as in the Novak and LRP motors?

Where does the sensor wire plug in?

It certainly may solve the problem of fitting the Novak GTB into an X-6, without serious chassis altercations... (pics to be posted when I fit the damn thing in!!!)

the Tekin unit should be able to run most if not ALL the brushless motors on the market for racing. The sensor wire gets dumped into your pitbox as it doesn't require or have anywhere to plug it in, being a 'sensorless' brushless system.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get one of the first batch if not the first one of these in the country. If I have it after Christmas I'll use it at York regional and/or the Batley supercup.

I also see some servos are coming out too

they are micro servo's at the moment Dan, but 10th scale ones will come later. Brushless is exciting!!!

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ACTURER=TEK&P=

Tower has 1/1th ones listed too. I actually find my 2123 is almost too fast in 2wd so the 0.11 one I think will be perfect. Fingers crossed it's all out soon, then roll on the new charger!
