Gear diff will not fit.
Your sure you are undoing the lock screw in the diff before you adjust it?

Have you done a rebuild on the diff? See what the coned washers are like they might need replacing.

ordered a full rebuild kit could be anything but in my opinion it seems that the diff washers seem to be binding on the diff gear not the balls could be wrong but if all the parts are replaced it should cure it

Default Diff

I have a diff thats only done 1 run if you want it. I paid £36.00 for it assembled from JE Models.

You can have it for £30 posted if you want.

I might be wrong, but I think the diff gear can only go one way round. Have you got it the correct way?

It could be the diff gear being the wrong way round as above, but if you can not find a good setting then it is the cone washers, it us very easy to over tighten the the diff which squashes the washers flat so they no longer work as a spring.
I have asked Schumacher to sell the washers separately as buying them in a kit is expensive as the other washer spacers do not ware, I have in the past re formed them using a tool for removing the ball from a plastic ball joint made by FG.

It is a neat compact design of diff but using a proper compression spring would have made life easier.

Default Diff

I'm sure that happened to me when I first build mine
I fitted something the wrong way Round
I tryed building it 5 times
before I found the problem,
turned it ? round ,then it was sweet
Admittedly I was drinking at the same time which didn't help.
Look very close at the manual when building.
