Default Fibre-Lyte RC10 Worlds Front Shock Mount for 0.89 Shocks

Don't know if people will find this useful, but I wanted some 3mm thick carbon fibre shock mounts to replace/save the originals on my RC10 Worlds car. I also decided I wanted to go with a taller front mount to accept Associated 0.89 shocks and keep the looks of the standard mount, but nothing was available in the UK.

So I contacted Stephen at Fibre-Lyte who was more than helpful and within a few days, he'd made what I wanted and I received in today's post. Stephen has added it to their catalogue of products, it fits all versions of RC10 and costs the same as the standard 0.71 Worlds shock mount and is available through contacting Fibre-Lyte.

Drawing showing the alterations I was looking for raising the tower 5mm to accept 0.89 shocks. I also asked for the inner side of the upright to be slightly inclined inwards so it didn't become to thin at the top of the neck without detracting away from the looks of the original.

Excellent work Stephen. Will definitely get one of these for a modern runner.
