Default BRCA SE 2WD Regional Round 4 - Eden Park Raceway - Sunday 03 August 2008

As the title suggests, Round 4 of 4 of the BRCA SE 2WD Regional Championships at EPR this Sunday. And Championship decider for both Seniors and Juniors!

As with all SE Regionals there will be an Open Class available to those drivers either with 4WD buggies who may wish to race or those from other Regions who may wish to race 2WD.

If there are sufficient numbers of drivers from other Regions with 2WD buggies they will be separated from SE Regional Drivers.

Could all those attending please note that unlike previous events and due to a change in circumstances Eden Park Raceway will not be in a position to provide food and drinks.
Obviously a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks are available from the on-site clubhouse, well known fast food outlets and garages are within a short distance.

See you all there!

It'll be fine, don't worry!
2WD @ EPR little bit of dampness = sorting the men from the boys!

Heat structure and running order is down to the Race Director (sort of shared but mostly Matt B tomorrow) and is obviously a combination of formula, ability and championship standings, as per normal!

Just returned from the track and after cutting the grass, strimming for six hours, collecting the litter and weedkilling she's looking fine! And after Steve Andrews has taught it a lesson with his leaf blower tomorrow AM she'll look even better, especially to those who could not make it to the National!

See you all there, and please, don't be too early, there's no need! The track won't be open until AT LEAST 08:30!

Brilliant day, thank you all for everything again. (Dave)
Really good day of racing and I must say the X6 was great.
So nice to drive and safe feeling even in the rain.
So my dryspell of 2wd racing ends at 13 years. Boy did I miss it.

ERP and crew thanks, this is the way racing should be!

That someone would obviously be me and the results have been pencilled in, just got to upload them onto the Championship table, my next job!

Incidentally, for info. the Championship tables do get posted to club officials for publication, sharing and uploading to respective websites at their discretion after every meeting!

Now we are approaching the end of the season I will send Final Championship tables to ALL my email contacts.

Unless, that is, anybody could tell me how to upload an Excel spreadsheet here?

Don't worry Brett I wasn't under any pressure, just wanted to confirm the Junior Championship positions!

Indeed there is a SE webiste and it was maintained by an ex-offroader, who may now even be an ex-racer! So next year may have to see if I can take ownership of this site and update it myself, unless anybody else wants to volunteer!!!
It's a new but logical remit from the main BRCA 1:10 Off-road Committee.

As I said will email table to all email addy's, probably tomorrow evening now!

PS Brett you were 10th, tied on points with Garry but with a better single highest points score (read the rules in your handbook if you don't understand!)

PPS And don't ask me about formula's yet, that will depend on the 4WD Championship tables as well!!!
