Default Friday 22nd March and Easter

Thanks to everyone who came last night (52) despite the weather.

Dont forget we are closed for 2 weeks and reopen on the 12th April.

I will try to get the article from the Lancashire Evening Post electronically but they have proved to be bad in the past at this. So i will try to get some hard copy.

It was a great turnout and as always a good nights racing. Did anyone else notice there seemed a few broken wishbones and c hubs etc.. Could be down to the cooler temperature maybe?

Also does anyone else think the bodyshell on the Losi 22 and h2 resembles a clog? Taking nothing away from the cars just my thoughts.

I agree. What a great night of racing, even if I didn't realise that the buzzer had gone for heat 1 round 2 to start.

There did seem to be more damage this week, but the racing felt quicker and much closer than in my first week. Were drivers pushing that little bit more for that extra advantage?

H2 and Losi resembling a clog?
You haven't mentioned that H2's have to be painted purple!

Yes, another great nights racing. Gutted that it's not on next week.
Did notice a lot of breakages during the evening (even though I didn't realise my OWN front bulkhead is cracked front to back!!) stripped it down this morning wondering why it was handling funny. Front camber was all over the place and also discovered that my diff has melted and welded itself solid
Even so, really enjoy the meetings. Very well organised.
Hats off to Eric, Peter and all the people at RVRCCC.

I'm blaming the melted diff on poor set up skills and bashing it during the week. Show boating, doing donuts at work!
Bulkhead breaking was inevitable The amount I spent the wrong way up!!

As far as the clogs issue goes.... Fastest clog I've seen since German beer festival!!!

yea we had wishbone problems Vaughn did two of them in. I on the other hand just had lecky issues all night until round three where I managed one full heat and stuck it 4th on the grid to end up third over all by defult because young Lukes transponder did not work and he would have had 2nd

I think electric issues are one of the worst to have, due to the fact they can be intermitent and diffficult to find and resolve and generally in the end costly.

Doesnt help that there is no space for the electrics in any car, never understood why manufactures dont plan these things in better for elec buggies. Especially brushless, the speed controls and motor wires take up so much more room than some of the older brushed systems.

Rant over

Glad I finally broke into the B final, was getting fed up finishing 20th every week (3 weeks in a row, same position).
