Default Can I play? (Hucknall Notts)

Hi,

I have been racing at Greasley Park Indoor with my Tamiya mini with a couple of friends over the last couple of months, we had one of your club members come and race this Saturday night just gone and he suggested that you dont quite have enough for an onroad heat.

I live in Hucknall and would like to come and join your club and race wednesdays ... I see from other posts that if there is not enough for a class such as minis that you will slot us in with another class, is this still the case?

Are there any onroad classes that are well populated that I could purchase a car for such as 2wd or 4wd non modified tourer? (im a relative newbie)

If buggies are all that is being racing im would be happy find out what cars they are running as the videos on your Website look ace.

I have a 2wd Team Ass. SCT10 as well but im a newbie to that as well!

I have my own transponder, its a Mylaps one .. I hope this is compatable with the timing system you run..

Scott.

Hi Scott, at this moment in time we don't have any on road cars racing at Mansfield. I'm sure they will come back eventually but the drivers have all bought buggies!

Anything off road can be raced, but due to having all the ramps in place we'd need a heat of on road to make it worthwhile changing the track.

Yes your transponder will work fine, only the very latest purcy rc4 type won't work at Mansfield.

Hope to see you soon!

Sounds like a plan ... I think ill buy a buggy but need to talk to people about which one to buy .. In the mean time can I bring my SCT down this week for a tester? I have the BRCA insurance etc...

Ive had a look on the net and think I know where it is ... do you go through the main entrance to the Botteny Commerical area and then turn left and park around the side?

Yeah you will be fine with your SC truck.

Nearly there with the directions, drive into botany park but just go straight down about 40 yards, go in the green double doors on the left (one shoud be propped open) and go up one flight of stairs.

There is usually someone there by 5ish, first race on the line at 7
