Default Spektrum interference ???????

I seem to have developed a problem with what appears to be interference on my sanwa super exzes with spektrum module. I would say 99% of the time the system works absolutely fine and then the other 1% it throws a wobbly in where the car turns hard left and appears to accelerate. This happens with both my 1/12th and GT12 cars. Both cars are running different speed controller and receivers. I initially thought that it was brownouts in the 1/12th car but then it started happening in the GT12 as well. I've checked both cars and the failsafe position is with the wheels ahead and no throttle so it doesn't appear to be that.

As it's happening on both cars I can only assume it is something to do with the transmitter. Now an interesting thing happened last night when I raced fine all night until the final. The person standing next to me had a Sanwa Super Exzes transmitter and his car was close behind me on the track, he crashed and as soon as his car hit the barrier, my car which was on the straight immediately shot left. This got me thinking, the problem is worse at 1/12th nationals where there is a greater proportion of these transmitters and appears to have become worse at my local club where a couple of new sanwa systems have appeared recently.

So is it possible that the Sanwa and Spektrum systems could be interfering ? or am putting 2+2 together to get 5 in my bid to convince myself that my transmitter isn't dying.
