Default ZX-5 Front Springs - Dimensions?

Hey guys,

Would somebody mind taking measurements of the stock springs on the ZX-5?

Reason I ask is I'm restoring an old Kyosho truck and I'm just looking for a set of springs that would go on the gold shocks that it has.

I bought a set of.. Associated springs.. *I think* and they are almost 1mm too small in diameter and hence rub on the shock body.

The stock springs are 40mm long, its inner diameter is 14mm.

In case you are wondering here's the truck:

Thanks!

Holson

Not to mention that the Kyosho black springs that the car came with are very soft.

om my RB5 the AE springs are about a MIL down so i would guess (i am an engineer) that the springs would go straight on, only thing is the lenght you may have to buy front RB5/ZX5 springs to get the right lenght. Ideally you want silver and red front springs to get a balance. (3.3 and 2.1)
