Hey, I've come across a programme called "prism Video Converter" that seems to do the job nicely. Comes with a free trial period, but wasn't to difficult to acquire a keygen for this wonderful programme hope this helps. (Converts multiple formats to ;o

Another for DVD fab, free one month trail I believe, but they ask a lot of pennies after that.

Try this guide, http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/13516...and-handbrake/

Freemake have a good fast video converter with presets (adjustable) as an alternative to handbrake.
