Default Best Low Profile Servo

What is the best low profile available at the moment?

I'm currently running a Savox 1258 in my Cougar currently and get on fine with it, but I need a low profile servo for my DB1.

I have had a couple of Savox 1251's and they aren't bad little servos but I have had one develop a fault on me previously and know of a few other people who have had issues too so I just want to consider the other options out there at the moment.

I have looked at the Futaba and KO Propo options available from JE but was wondering whether they justify thr price tag of at least double that of the 1251....?

Have a look at the Futaba BLS-551. 10x better than the futaba servo's.

That and the KO Propo RSx One10 are the two I am considering. Just wondering if they are so much better they warrant me spending so much more!?

Hence me looking to see if there are any others I should be considering before taking the plunge....

for the money, the savox is hard to beat, Others are a little heavy on the pocket. I have used the spectrum low profile, was not that impressed tbh

Very true, the others are pricey. But.... The Savox is far from bomb proof so if an extra £40 gets me a far superior servo then its an investment worth making.

Cue this thread - before making that pricey purchase I want to be sure!

I do really rate KO stuff, always have, still use a couple now but they just went out of my price range, and I run to many classes. I use a lot of second hand gear, you just don't see that many ko's come up.

TBH if you can afford it I don't think you would go wrong with ko
