Hi!
I was thinking to get a 4wd 1/10 buggy racer, for competition. But our plans about a track here were I live is delayed, so I will get a basher while I am waiting for our track to be finished. When we get a track, I will eather get the AE B44 or the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 SP. I was thinking about an E-revo when it is released, but I am not sure. I was also thinking of the Tamiya Durga DB01. I have the Castle creations Sidewinder 4600, so I do not need a brushless system. Is the B44 or the Lazer ZX5 SP a good choice for bashing, but later racing? What is your opinion? Need some advices, and some tips about this. Thanks! ![]() -Ev1er |

Get a Durga and you'll have the best of both worlds.
A car up to bashing that is also a decent race car.

Doom's choice is a good one, but I would go for the Lazer ZX-5 SP myself.
It takes normal stick packs, lipo and side by side NIMH's cells. It also is excellent build quality and the shocks are superb. There are also no belts to break and it comes with a slipper clutch (which the Durga does not have[slipper]). However, I think it is dearer than the Durga by quite a lot.

The two cars will end up costing about the same once you add all the bits to the Durga, but you have to shell out less in the first place.
The Durga runs exactly the same cell configuration as the Lazer so it will come down to personal choice.

I would still go with the Lazer... my old Kyosho Lazer was miles better than any Tamiya I had lol! The screws were S**T in the tamiya and stripped very easily.

Why not a Baldre ? The same as a DURGA... but with a nicer shell
I have the mamba max 4600 in mine and it all fits in nicely and is a great choice. You cant go far wrong with a DB-01
