Default well done guys and girls

A little late but wanted to say the biggest well done to all the Ralls Racing team drivers who went to the f2's juniors and vets race meeting. firstly an awsome job put on by the host club was great to see the amount of effort that has gone on to change this from a grass track a few years back to the no permanent facility using good astro and a newly built rostrum. i look forward to a national here in the future as the club deffinatly deserve one.

In the Vets James Barker, Alfie Higgins, Paul Barnes and the legendary Graham Blitzboy Smith were there to represent and did so with style with afie in the C, Paul and Blitz having their own cheeky 50p bet on the outcome of the B finals and James driving really well to put it in the A final in both classes whilst helping out all their mates and any juniors in our camp at all times. great to see the older wiser heads offering advise to the young upstarts right the way through

In the f2s A special mention to team xtreme driver Will Johnson putting his Vega gen2 tamiya in the A final and with a little more luck would of knocked on the door of the podium. onto the team and we had Dave Holmes among others who as usual put up a good showing and great racing to watch

Moving onto the juniors and 2 southeast drivers deserve a special mention, George Tollman (hope spelling is right) put up a great display for Xtreme rc in the under 13s with a great set of finals putting himself right at the sharp end on the podium, and Ollie Crew from team Losi who had every piece of bad luck imaginable but kept his chin up to get some great results in the under 16s A final. moving onto the team. Daniel Town taking a great win in 2wd under 13s as well as a solid podium in 4wd. Ellen Hinklin, Laura hinklin and Jodie Moon were bringing girl power out in force and showing the boys how it should be done with great driving, sportsmanship and skills showed. Mark Revell, John Barnes and Kyle Moon all made the main in both 2wd and 4wd, Mark qualifying 7th on both days finishing up with an 8th and 9th overall, not bad for someone with so little race experience and a future star to be watched, John drove an awsome set of finals to just pip mark.
Kyle surprised us all buy hitting it hard at the sharp end, securing 3rd in 2wd on his debut with the c4.1, (thanks to Stuart Band for the lend) taking a tq in one round of quali and showing what a sensible head he has in these high pressure situations, in 4wd he went one better again taking a round of quali to line up again 2nd on the grid. this time leg 1 proved to be a disaster. not to be out done he came back strong in leg 2 to take the win and leave a possible 4 way win for the meeting between himself, Jack Neal, Ashley Caunt and Conner Cocker, leg 3 was a thrilling nail biter for all who watched and at 2 mins it looked like Kyle had it sewn up with the length of the straight as a lead. unfortunately a costly roll at the end of the straight dropped him right down the order but a stellar drive back saw a great battle with Jack for the fight for 3rd in leg and possible win, Kyle managed to just pip Jack at the end so all eyes were back to the front where Ash and Conner were also having a great race long battle. the 2 were never separated with Conner just ahead and Ash trying everything he could to get past. it looked like Conner had it all done and dusted untill 2 corners from home when Ash pulled the move of the day stuffing it up the inside on the slippery grass and holding on to the line to take the leg win. this ment Ash was tied on points with Kyle so it would all come down to fastest leg win which Ash had by a mere 4 seconds. congrats to Ash on his win and to Kyle for a fantastic 2nd overall.

A massive well done to all the winners overall, Tony Evdoka in 2wd vets, Damian Whittle, 4wd vets, Ed Kerry for the double in the f2's, Conner Cocker 2wd under 16s, Ashley Caunt 4wd under 16s, Daniel Town 2wd under 13s, Jack Hirst 4wd under 13s

All the team drivers did a great job on the day making mums, dads and sponsors very very proud. keep up the great work and we will do our best to continue our support of you

Nathan
