410 v3 bearings

anyone know where i can get a decent set of 410 v3 bearings? had a few kit ones sieze up so what to try something different

Avid bearings are good, mine are still going strong after 2 seasons. I think they are £30 but definitely worth it.

Very expensive I'd of thought. The Avid ones are good, one side is metal shielded and the other side is rubber so you get reduced drag.

Ceramic bearings are very expensive and total over kill in a off road buggy I got some acer bearings to see what they was like and yes they were great but at £65 a set not worth the money.

At the moment I'm trying to source some ceramic bearing kits hopfully with a rrp of £35-£45 a kit but need to test them first.

I've got the standard 410 kit but the v3 have 4 bearings that are different should have the v3s tomorrowish???

Ceramic bearings are just like any other bearing in that they vary in quality. U get good ones and bad ones. As a rule the more u pay the better the quality

I cannot recommend the high end boca kits enough.
Yes very expensive. But they really last. (five yrs and still like new)
They require zero maintanance, just wipe any debris off the outside. That's it

Boca state not to flush them and not to oil them as the seals are self lubing
They are so much smoother than anything else I've tried and have zero play in them.
What's £120 if they can last so many seasons and give u a performance boost,
Or at least stop any dnfs from bearing failure.
Hell we tend to pay more than that for a speedo and five yrs is a very good innings for one of those!!

I got the rubber (2RS) sealed bearings from rcbearings.co.uk

Think he does ceramic too, personally, i wouldn't bother. What with the bearings running pressed into plastic housings, running on unbalanced shafts and with (pretty much) unbalanced everything......... the benefits will be miniscule.

Might be worth it on a TC.
Or if you are aiming for top results on the international stage.
But at 15 quid for a set of sealed bearings, you can't really go wrong.

Yep, got an Orange set and they outlast two cars and still fine, did not regret
it.

A yellow set might be a nice option, costly but not in the long run.
