Default Real car tyres

Now then guys, who can hook a brother up with a good deal on some tyres?

The Vectra needs two rears, currently fitted with Goodyear 215/50 R17 NCT 5's.

Cheers,

G

I should be able to - Any preference on brand or do you just want a high end brand like the current Goodyear's, pirelli's, bridgestone etc? PM me if you want to discuss.

Northy,

I've always found www.blackcircles.com good value. You can even get the tyre delivered to one of their local fitting places where they'll fit it for you and eveything.

http://www.etyres.co.uk/

Locally I have used Elite in the past but yesterday Etyres came out and were first class.

I got the guy to swap the fronts and rears over at the same time. And then asked him for some lead balancing weights too!

For 235/40/18 tyres they were £60 more expensive per tyre than Elite for Michelin Pilot Sport II but I just got some Dunlop's this time around to see how they go.

Got 54000 out of the MPSIIs on the front so will see how the new ones hold up!

Just for comparison under £100 posted don't seem bad, and if you try tech tyres in Osbaldwick York, they look after my taxis, fitted and balanced own tyres for a fiver for me normally

G,

I looked into internet tyres etc when I had the Astra and Pug but once you've found someone to fit them there really was no point going anywhere other than North East Tyres at Clifton Moor. Everytime they were the cheapest and by far the best customer service I've ever had for tyres (unless I knew the people there).

Speaking of which Jase across the road couldn't even beat NE Tyres price when offering me mates rates!!! (thanks anyway Jase).

Dan
