Wheres my "local" track?

Hey all,

I'm thinking of racing my RC car but I'm not sure where the nearest offroad 1/10 track would be to where I live in Sheffield. I know they race at Don Valley but I think thats mainly touring car stuff.

Also, 'cos I'm a noob at the racing game, what essentials would I need to be able to take part? I'm not aiming to win any championships or anything but would like to know what to expect and what to take.

hi don't know wether we're nearest or not but we have a few from sheffield way come down to us at broxtowe check out the mid east forum hth andy
