Default Reventon R problems

Last weekend my day at the GP was ruined because of an electrical problem.

After a 2min run the esc goes in safe mode like the lipo is flat although there is only 300mah out of the lipo.
Motor was only 35°C and the esc not even 20°C.

After changing the receiver, lipo's, new wires etc.. I found out that this esc is not compatible with an LRP X20 motor??
Today I put the esc in my 2wd with a Speed passion motor and everything is 100% fine.

Any advice on this issue?

Thanks

What reason was given for the lack of compatibility?

I have no idea what the reason is. It was with trial and error that i found out that this esc didn't work with the lrp x20 motor.
