Painting advice needed

Hi,

when painting shells using rattle cans, the colours usually seem dull, how can I get them brighter, I am looking to do a shell with white, orange and green (Kawasaki green), whats the best range of paint and what colours should I be using for backing them to get them nice and bright?

Generally, use white to back a color to make it brighter.

I don't use cans so cannot provide any insight into brands, sorry.

You can also help the brightness once done is to back the whole car with silver, it helps bounce the light back in. But jon is fully correct.

Fastrax is pretty good i find - not badly priced and a larger can than Pactra / Tamiya.
