Default Damage list is as follows

Despite having fewer than normal tumbles I managed to kill my Pred

Damage list is as follows:

The turnbuckles are nearly ripped out of the top suspension arms ( they are screwed in at a very weird angle now )

Ball joint screw ripped out of the back right lower wishbone

Front upright bearing mount cracked

Chassis snapped clean in two

The chassis i wasnt happy about and after closer inspect its looks to be a design fault having cracked on the narrowest point, in addition the chassis is very thin due to a recessed area for the internal front block leaving the chassis only 1mm thick on the base, add to this 2 holes drilled in it (

I reached a compromise with Xtreme and have another one on the way for half price.

Will spend the week rebuilding it and see how it goes but if it happens again may consider switching to another car, any recomendations on cheaper and stronger but just as good ?

BTW thanks for the following:

Dianna for letting me swap to 2wd in my spare (god dam slow) Bandit and still make the most of the day.

Erm I'm crap with names but I think it was Matt who offered me a spare Pred chassis.

The dude who let me share his tent and stay dry, made the day fun as oppsed to miserable, thanks m8.

The other person who lent me a charging lead for my 2wd car

Everyone else for being friendly, talking to me and making the day FUN.

I take it no meeting next weekend so if all works out and i get the car running I'm off to Jarrow, anyone wanting to consider offering lifts and sharing petrol or needs a lift please post, am thinking it will be about a 6.00 am start from Knaresborough, cripes

Helped you out a bit with names. Yours is the second chassis that I have seen break there.

The turnbuckles on the upper wishbones are a known problem and have now been fixed by Team Xtreme by them now distributing the Lunsford items, which are a direct replacement.

Default Past history includes

Motorbikes, Triumph 500 speed twin, CX500, GPZ600, Ducati 750ss, Maico 440 Motocrosser with Triumph engine and road legal ish ( brakes were crap T boned it and smashed both wrists ), CBR600, present bike Suzuki DRZ400 super motad.

Climbing: Sandstone verging on XS rating but never got to grips with Limestone, Malham cove and Kilnsey crag were scenes of epic adventures

Potholing:
Now this was fun, bottomed the deepest caves around often using a Kilometer of rope, epic tales I can remember when I draw my pension.

Women:
Crap, dont even go there they are just dangerous,

I now need something exciting but with no pain involved, so sticking with 4wd.
