Iso,

Cheers mate.

Lowry,

Nice, now you need to upgrade it so you can use lipos and show these new cars what a great design can still do.

Well i went racing at RCArena last night (on the club listings) and was a bit unsure on how the car would go with my designed front mount. Ive still got issues with being unable to go flat out round corners as the back end comes out so front shocks and front ride height need adjusting to better it. I also found that the centre weights that sit on the CF block are giving too much weight to the front so am going to cut some in half and scew to the back hole on the CF block which should balance the car on jumps.

Other than those issues and the fact that the front belt had over stretched itself so was only giving 50% to the front the car performed very well. I took tq against a durango and my lap times were almost all identical so seems to be almost dialed. Pity the belt was shagged as i had to run my zxs in the final but was fun never the less and ended up driving like a spaz but who cares.

I dont use the zx or zxr one but found a solid one piece wing mount and seems to be molded at the correct angle. Just a few things to sort out first before im happy.

I prefer the semi circular on on the zx page but the copy they made wasnt an exact copy. Im talking to them today to remodel the bottom of it. Ive never managed to break one so are well worth buying.

You are already my bitch for life with all the items out there that can now be bought again for the Lazer including my most recent spur and zx/zxr lipo tray.

However ive got the very first design lipo tray for the zxs that is wafer thin but does work well. Once ive found a case to put in to protect it i will send onto you. The one i wanted to send you seems to have gone missing.

Hey James,

Where did you get the LiPo tray from? I'm looking for something to fit Trakpower 4800's in a Mk.1 chassis. I was thinking of using the B44.1 tray since it's one piece, thought it would make mounting it easier. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have discussed the front semicircular front tower with Fibrelyte. Im awaiting the cad drawing to see for myself but should be ready for buying next week. Also my version ZXS copy to fit the ZX is good as im using that at the moment but am also having it remade with a mod too it and will also be ready for rnext week.

Adam,

B44 one doesnt fit hence why I did what I did. Have a look at my pics several pages back and youll see my lipo design. Its basically based on a TRF511 design but is significantly different. I will be talking to Fibrelyte today and will get a template drawing made up fort he ZXR as the design I have currently done is for my design chassis only. Cost may be a bit steep (I think around £30), but its made a hell of a difference for me. You will need to either drill two holes in the centre of the chassis or stick it on with very super sticky adhesive tape for the middle bit and the other two halves just screw into the batt post holes. I have designed it so you can add up to 85g on each side using three cell hole zimmer brass plates (each 15g) and one 40 rudebitz plate for the ZX5FS which needs a bit of filing to fit perfectly and of course you can add quite a lot of rudebitz 511 centre chassis plates, I am currently using three (each 17g). Hope this is of help.
