I am supporting the British drivers and Neil had a damn good go at it, and gutted that he couldnt pull off a second title. But looking at the facts, we are not as well suited to these surfaces as we race on high grip surfaces so even though Im supporting the Brits my monies on the US drivers for the win.

Only half way through and its been fantastic to watch! congrats to cavialieri, i think he definitely deserved the win and hes been quick in qualifying, but i think he just managed to cut the mistakes out where others didnt.

Maifield was sooo fast and piling on the pressure but Cavalieri just held off and drove clean - Good drive!

What happened to Tebo in the 3rd leg? He seemed to disappear....

I always thought for the last race of the day like that IFMAR would just ask the drivers to vote on if they were prepared to wait or not - Fair enough if they all said No but it's not like dumping is an issue, or daylight or anything else, they could easily have just given a 5 or even 3 minute delay for them to fix it

Drama even before the start of leg three - Neil Cragg couldn't win the meeting any longer but broke his car during warmup before the final - Mick Cragg walked off with the car to fix it but then it was announced they wouldn't be waiting for Neil - the rules state this and so this is what happened. It was a really harsh way for Neil to bow out of the 2WD race as he still had a lot to prove.

We had the views of a couple of racer-dads who rear through the IFMAR rules multiple times and couldn't see anything that would have prevented the race from being halted for Neil to run - and the question of whether they'd wait for one of the three drivers who had a chance to take the title if they'd broken during warmup needs to be asked. It's just toy cars at the end of the day.
