ive had a go with an up to date touring car. And the car is nice to drive for the first couple of laps but then it just gets boring. Whereas with off road there is always excitement around every corner.

So, just to clarify: the on-road borers run at the same time as off-road, but on a different track and therefore have absolutely no contact with off-road?
What is the minimum number of teams required to run the meeting? (surely 2 teams cannot be enough - can't we just lock the doors to anyone who's sad enough to own tyre warmers )

The way it used to work was essentially two events at the same time. The touring track ran one and the other was on the off road track. So the the times and cars between the two are completely seperate.

Ye, the difference in quality between the 'budget' class 10.5 motors and the modified ones (like 5.5 ect) is huge, there not well built and are stupidly sensitive to gearing.
