Hi Neil,
I understand, but its a real shame for me... Not sure if I 'should' come along to the next few shootout meets... As I can't make the finals, I may as well give the points available to those who 'can' make the date... Will just have to trophy hunt for the club races instead!!

Weather reports at present looking a bit rainy for the afternoon but should clear up for race night!. Track dries really well as last weeks racers will confirm
 If it looks a little dodgy and some racers do not come, might be a good oppertunity to pitch up and race.... pick up some decents points for the finals night!

3.20pm and Very light drizzle here trackside so nothing major and this should be gone by 5.00pm. As the racers saw last week, the track dries very quickly

Well, what a night!. Gave all racers the choice to run or cancell, they chose to run. First two heats went well in the dry, then the heavens opened
 So we ran for cover!. Do I die was next and everyone decided to run the meeting, whatever the weather. No broken or bust things knowledge and EVERYONE had a SMILE on there face at the end Photo's here from Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1665868...7627001172937/

Can't remember the last time I had that much fun. I'm cleaning the car now, have been for 3 hours total strip and rebuild.diffs wheels and body shell in the dishwasher, shock strip and rebuild. Great racing Rob I will catch you one day.

Well, that's it now, qualifying has finished
Now down to the big stuff!!!! Finals night!!Full results from tonights 7th and final round of the Shootouts are here: http://www.shrccc.co.uk/02.08.11/heats.htm Final points totals are here: http://www.shrccc.co.uk/shootoutpoints.html As far as I know the top ten qualifiers can make the 9th August 2011, however a reserve list will be running on the night. We'll also have a full itinery of support races so its racing as normal next week

People have commented that there is no 4wd heat. IF enough turn up (non shootout cars) I will run a heat or bung them in with the 2wd so they get a run out.
