Charlie Fraser confirmed that applications to hold national events in 2008 had been received from the following clubs: Oswestry, Holbeach, Stotfold, Coventry, CML Raceway, Eden Park Raceway, Eastrax, Talywain (Wales) and Clanfield. Potential host Clubs wishing to stage the 2008 Indoor Finals had been canvassed and with committee agreement in order to secure the desired weekend (w/e29/30th March 2008) Short Circuit Model Club (Worksop) have been awarded the event using the Bassetlaw Indoor Sports venue.

2008 will feel like there are some missing rounds....

I mean, imagine not going to tiverton (we kinda knew this though), Kiddy (shocker), southport (shocker) and Bury Metro (shock)

when you say any of those tracks I instantly think 'national'....

I don't go on RC websites for a month or so, I come back and the world is on its head!!

They're all south of nottingham!

I think most really ask for is a balanced series. 2 up north, 2 in the middle 2 in the south

I dont want sympathy matt, its ok. I just said its a lot of travelling.

I'm used to travelling to meetings so it doesn't really bother me too much anymore. Obviously theres going to be travelling long distances for everyone through the seasons no matter what you race.

Looking forward to going to mr martins track, looks ace.

i'm assuming the 8th tracks are going to construct a shorter track for us 10th racers?
