AFAIK the launch day is Saturday 21st.

Dave will confirm but I think non-members can't race until the 21st because of insurance issues.

Chris is correct, non members can only race from 22nd due to the insurance only coming into effect from 20th.

I think it to do with H&S assessment for the site / disabled lift etc.

Technically it's still as building site and only gets handed over by the contractor around the 16th.

So as all the meetings there advertising on their website on all the tracks are on the 21st who are they expecting to race. Just members?

I don't know what racing is scheduled for 21st....they may be announcing a big event under their own auspices.

So your on here promoting the place. Their website under events says 20.21.22 for loads classes and lists the opening day on 21st but you don't know?

As Paul Said, Dave is representing MKRCTC which is a Racing Club that is renting the Moto Arena Circuit and using it to host their normal club races on a Sunday Morning and Wednesday night. That's all been made pretty clear in the thread so far.

Dave said he couldn't confirm what was happening on the 21st as it's the Moto Arena launch meeting, nothing to do with MKRCTC.

Why does Dave not pit his clubs info on a topic for the club instead of misleading those who want to use the venue without his club? Saves allot of confusion

Dave has said that the 8th of August is a test day for MKRCTC members and he dosent know the details of the opening weekend, seems plain and simple to me.

At least Dave hasnt turned around and said what he thinks may be happening, im sure people would moan if he had an got information wrong.

Geez Mark, Dave was just sharing info about what is currently the ONLY club based at MA, and so THE ONLY WAY to race at MA until after it's official opening to the public in late August.

Even after it's official opening, it MIGHT be the only way to race in an organized meet at MA outside of big events. It'll defo be the only way to race there on a Wednesday night or a Sunday morning.... So Chill out!

Yes not open to the public because i would imagine MKRCTC members are there to check the track and advise any changes that may need to happen? imagine 50+ people there and something went wrong ie timing didnt work

8th of August is for MK members.....I would imagine then after the 21st (opening day) the venue will be open to anyone who wants to go. Its not that hard to figure out. You've got 18 days then you can go as much as you like.

As for insurance, there are no big meetings before the 21st so again no issue there. As its still a building site the MK guys will just have to have the correct PPE while they are there.
