Just to say excellent meeting, it was good to be back.
The track, weather, welcome & racing was 1st rate. The only down side was the late nighters on Saturday who seemed to be up till 3am Sunday.

So not to leave on a down note, many thanks to everyone who put so much effect into to making this into an superb venue. Best of luck with the National.

never gave a thought to doing a plus and minus on the track,?
on the plus side, well way to many to list,it has to be one of if not the top astro track in the UK now,
the only minus i could think of is, don't try to use to many of the great features in one go, i no hardly a minus but its all i could think of,over taking was down to a minimum on Sunday, cant wait for the national now, woop woop

It was an awesome weekend wasn't it, i can't praise the whole team enough, from the grafters to the scruitineers, york always run great meetings but now they have a great venue too.

Positives for me was as i said a very professional team and an awesome track both days. The weather made the weekend even better.

The only negatives i have are out of the clubs hands and they were, my tent was too hot and also drivers abusing refs, this is not on, we all want refs and they take their time out of the day to stand on the rostrum and try and help out us drivers. The two ref's i had over the weekend Shane and Damo were great, they did enough and 'helped' everyone on the track to understand who was hot and who was not. Thats the way it should be but for those who have a go at them, it's really not on, i don't think they stand up there all day just so they can have a better view for the A final.

Top marks from me anyway guys, i'm sorry if there were more ref's but i only had Damo and Shane this weekend.

just to pick up on what lee has said while marshaling near the rostrum 2wd, one guy was F ing and blinding and threatening to rearange someones face, now dummy spitting is fine, but to use language like that when there are kids about is way out of order, he even had a go at the ref when he left the rostrum, as a vicechairman of another section, had one of my sections racers done that he would have been going home. i know who it was, and im sure his dad and brother would not be too happy bout it either.
i left well alone , but if i see it again i will bring it to the officials attention and ask for somthing to be done!

i dont feel there is a need to name and shame people on a public forum !!
bit out of order if you ask me, if you felt that strongly about it then you should of spoken to the race director on the day

Doesn't sound like anyone I have known. Some people get aggressive during the heat of the race, but living up to the threats made? If they're reading this id like to know just how stupid and little they feel now.

Yes - do name and shame them, they need to feel shame and stupid now, next time he'll be leaving the event, either on a stretcher or escorted depending who he threatens.

love the way some people are so hard with big nads on a freeking forum

none of you would do jack - if you where that BIG you would have done it allready
or told him what was what on the day- where was his ass kicking???? in the post

wait untill gone 10 at night to say oh i would have told him what i thought- balls son shine you did nothing then and you did nothing now

its toy car racing if you want to get your ass kicked for tyring to man up over it then go ahead but at the end of the day where all sad for racing toy cars so seriously any way so why bother shut up and keep that chat to how good the track was

love you all

Millzy
