Yeah was fun.. I'm just desperate to get into the 12s & traffic doesn't help.. With a few tweaks to the XX I reckon I'll be there next time.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't do a lot for your lap times, does it?

Was good fun, but i agree i think 3 heats would of been better. When there were 6 cars in a race last week i was getting 12 laps easy. This sunday i didn't get one.

it was only my 2nd week there , on the first week it done ok , this weekend just gone , not soo good ..

took me 3 race's to find out why it would'nt handle (bent rear arm and hinge pin ) after a collision or 2 with the back markers , in the first heat ...

my mate , took the ansmann madrat , and it did ok , a bit slow on the main straight , but good on the corners and jumps ..he still had a fair reasult...

ive just bought a madrat for a spare car , as im selling my schumacher mi3.5pro ...

Talking of handling, I don't think the fuel tube spacer mod on the kingpin has done any good, but it got me through the morning. A few tweaks (if I can be bothered) and it should come good.

Yeah you know it'll be worth it plus it'll give Mr Brown a challenger

That's all right then

Although, Brown has been campaigning that Losi XX of his round Titchfield for over 10 years now, and I think he was a team magic sponsored driver for a bit doing 10th on road ic.

Alas, I'm always up for a challenge, and it's off road, which we all know is an unofficial contact sport

Bit of a quiet one yesterday (about 10 people showed up) - not much of a surprise given the horrible weather on saturday and the dodgy forecast for sunday, really.

Racing was excellent - wet track in the morning, gradually drying out as the day wore on to a mixture of wet and dry depending on the thickness of the astroturf. Really challenging driving - my wet weather setup was grip rolling on parts of the track and skidding over other parts. I struggled manfully to match the 4wd tyranny of Dave and Dave, and I think it was roughly honours even between the three of us in the end. Mr Dibble bagged the best race time of the day with something like 12 laps in 314s .

Probably gonna curse us, but the weather is looking good for tomorrow so hoping for good numbers. Still had quite a few people turn up over the last couple of weeks, but i think the damp conditions have put a few off.

Good days racing yesterday, thanks to all those who helped me. I am slowly getting there and I keep improving my best lap time even just by a bit.

Hi mate,

Indeed good days racing. Order this from DMS so we can get the right servo horn on your car. As I noticed that the steering travel is limiting you through the twisty section.

Associated AS9180 Servo horn set (most models) £2.65

Failing that ask for a spare for a sanwa in the wanted section etc.

Got some work to do on the Cat SX for next time. I'm ditching my remaining NIMHs to focus on LIPOs

I have order a set although I think changing the steering end points will help a bit too as they are still set from before when I tried the metal steering blocks (which were a bit smaller and caused the steering to lock).
